The new Cruise Terminal at Largo Fiorillo (Terminal 2) has been operating since 2015. With an internal surface area of 1450 m2, it allows passengers to board and disembark according to the highest market standards.

A strategic objective is to perform the works outlined in the Port Development Plan that will allow a further increase in traffic thanks to:

  • the new pier on the Paita Dock, with an elongated triangular shape, with two docks, the first 393 metres long and the other 339 metres long;
  • the new Cruise Terminal.

Awaiting the construction of the new cruise pier on Paita Dock, a series of initiatives have allowed passenger ships to be adequately accommodated thanks to the use of the west side of the renovated Garibaldi Pier, which dedicates 630 linear metres of pier, large parking areas and bus transit and other service vehicles for the cruise ships.
