AdSP (The Port System Authority) is a non-profit public body with administrative, budgetary and financial autonomy that directs, plans, coordinates, promotes and controls port operations. It performs maintenance of the common areas, maintains the seabed, supervises the provision of services of general interest, exclusively administers the state areas and property, and plans the development of the port territory. Furthermore, the AdSP (Port System Authority) is subject to the guidance and supervision of the Minister for Infrastructure and Transport.

The sustainability report of
the Eastern Ligurian Sea Port Authority
The Port Authority of the Eastern Ligurian Sea has decided for the first time to publish a sustainability report with the aim of publicly reflecting on the economic, environmental and social impact of port activities on the surrounding context, as well as measuring its own contribution to the achievement of sustainable development.
The report, produced in 2019 on the consolidated data of 2018, addresses various issues, from the relationship with surrounding communities to the quantification of the economic and employment effects of the port activities, with particular attention paid to the description of the actions taken in practice to mitigate the environmental impact of the production activities located within the state property boundaries of competence.
